These emails were sent (unfortunately) just before the morning of, or the day before, the CERN Council meeting of 18 March. The first email, which emphasises neglects in the approach of LSAG (and other CERN safety reviews) was sent via the CERN Secretariat to those CERN Council members who are not listed as CERN physicists; the second concentrates on dangers on the basis of Plaga’s scenario and was sent directly to CERN physicists (who have their email addresses disclosed) and who are members of the Council. The second download/attachment incl corrections (some CERN members who informed of them)

Dear Council members
Please consider the arguments in the attachment, and review whether it really makes sense at this time, to continue to unprecedented collider energies, given the detailed arguments that have been variously put forward, yet which have either not been responded to or have been misunderstood, by LSAG. This attachment concerns these neglects, expresses great concern over the reported ‘zero risk statement’ policy and summarises the various unaddressed arguments.
Hoping this will be seriously considered,
For, now, the world could be in your hands, this appears to be the power you have
In spirit of mutual and careful consideration of risk

Dear CERN Council President, Vice-President and Secretary
I request that before the CERN Council meeting of Thursday March 18, you consider the paper below, and thereby reflect in relation to planned increases in collision energy at the LHC.
Please see attachment for better formatting. Cc’s given at end of email.
In hope that this will be seriously considered.
My regards
Eric
